The latest Producer's Letter for Company of Heroes 2 is up, and Greg Wilson details just some of what's to come for the game.
He began by touting previous accomplishments and updates since launch, and highlighting the recent release of new maps Langreska and Semoskiy as keeping the spirit of the classic CoH. But it's the details of what's to come that's new. Theater of War mode will be getting an update this month, adding a mini-pack that is set in 1942 told from the German perspective.
This pack will be a free download for those who own any of the Collectors Editions or who preordered the game and will be paid DLC for everyone else. Players can, however, upgrade to a CE and get the DLC for free.
An update will also be released for Company of Heroes 1 that should help fix some issues that arose when the game was ported. This work will also be used as the foundation of future work on COH2.
