It's 2013 now, and that means Company of Heroes 2 is just a few months away. This, naturally, should bring lots of new information and reveals meant to both inform and entice both fans of the series and new players. Today's taste is a big one, since it features the game's new UI.
The new UI features a minimap on the lower left, with the buttons for unit location and points of interest larger this time around. The minimap itself is designed to be less busy and more user-friendly. The unit portrait to the right and to the right of that is your heart - the Bridge.
The Bridge serves as the main control panel for your units, giving info about each one and also control. Your resources are above there, presented in a new horizontal format. You'll notice, if you're a CoH fan that the overall UI is clearer. You'll also notice a new element, the Commander Ability menu. This is displayed above the action panel and you'll have the chance to gain new commands and new abilities for a chosen commander type as you get more combat experience.
You can get the complete rundown on all the elements in this (long) post from Relic.
