Crusader Kings II is known not just for its impressively deep, yet accessible gameplay, where story does matter, but for some of the community mods. The latest in the line of quality mods is a new one based on The Elder Scrolls games.
Elder Kings takes place, for you lore hounds, in The Interregnum periods of the Second Era, a time before the Elder Scrolls games. This time period was chaotic and was notable for a split empire and lots of fighting both internally and with neighbors. You'll have the option, through Crusader Kings II, to decide how you want to play things out. You'll be able to vie for the throne and become the new Emperor of Tamriel, leading the people into the Third Era, form the Aldmeri Dominion and lead others, or even take another race, like the Khajiit, to power.
The mod features a map with over 1000 provinces, new traits tailored to the content, 25 races and cultures from The Elder Scrolls, new diseases, faiths and cults as well. Custom events round out the list of features that you'll be able to see when using this mod.
Now, when will someone make a mod that makes the Crusader Kings Z April Fools' joke a reality?
