Have friends that haven't yet picked up StarCraft II. Perhaps they were intimidated by the game or just never thought they could get into it? Blizzard created the Starter edition for those wanting to try the game without commitment, and for the holidays, the company is sweetening the perks for the extended trial.
Players using the Starter edition can now, for a limited time, join with players that own the full version of Starcraft II in playing arcade games together. And there are several new featured games to enjoy. These include Blasterbots, Tower Defense Tycoon, the survival RPG Kobold Tribes, and more, in addition to Left 2 Die, Auir Chef, and StarJeweled.
