The latest round of Steam Greenlight titles has been announced, and there are two strategy highlights in the new crop of indie titles.
The community voted and decided to throw support behind Eador, Masters of the Broken World as well as War for the Overworld. The first is a turn-based strategy game set in a fantasy universe with RPG elements. The developers tout the non-linear nature of the game's story, as well as the tactical and roleplaying options. Soon it will be available to a wider audience, as it has a Q1 2013 planned release.
War for the Overworld is a game that has had some recent success. The RTS-god game is by Subterranean Games and was recently funded via a successful Kickstarter campaign. You play as an underlord building a subterranean empire, and of course, managing and defending it from threats. The game has a playable demo right now, and is looking at a release later this year.
